They later denied it but I moved supplier. Anybody else been forced onto a smart meter? I heard you can ask for evidence to say it’s not working
"Hi (Name)During July your smart meter failed to send us readings at certain times, so we couldn’t see the full picture of your electricity use.
Unfortunately this means you won’t receive a Power Move credit this month."

If you're a Power Move (OVO's own DFS-type scheme) participant, you should know that there are some demands made on the data used to work out rewards. One of these is that there must be no fewer than 48 half-hourly usage figures for a day to be included in the calculation. Another is that if a day's data are retrieved too late - perhaps after 1.00 pm the following day - then the day will be discarded. There is probably also a minimum number of eligible days in the month. Data retrieval has been a bit dodgy for some customers for a few weeks because of hiccups at the DCC, but if your meter is in decent contact with the outside world, both readings and usage data should get there eventually. The situation has improved greatly for me over the past few days.I'm not being lazy ...

..... which the overwhelming majority of new installations now do. Infinitely frustrating for those with problems of course.Marvel1 said:
