Leaving Avanti help

Hi. I've been trying to leave avanti gas since the end of March. Its been a horrible year and my health has suffered so haven't been on the ball with doing this. I now need help please as I'm completely overwhelmed and don't know what to do.
My avanti contract ran out the end of March. I contacted flogas who won't take me as a customer as their rules around where the tank is situated have changed in the 5 or so years since I was last with them.
Calor accepted me and contacted avanti for the switch. Switch was denied as avanti cant/wont supply the manufacturers certificate and a refurbishment certificate. I got no paperwork on the tank when I moved here 10 years ago and it wasn't an issue when I went with flogas when I moved in.
Avanti now want 62ppl whereas calor want 48ppl so it's a no brainer to move suppliers.
I have been on the phone to avanti and also emailed several times. Phone people say they're chasing up the team that has the certificate, email people say they provided a 10 year test certificate dated 2015 but I've seen no evidence of this. Calor says they can't accept me without these certificates.
Help! I don't know what to do now and I'm overwhelmed. I'm also disabled so panicking slightly as to what to do when my lpg runs out

When tanks are bought/sold it is a process between the firms.
A tank with no paperwork is a cheap tank, so there are a couple of options for the LPG firms.
The new firm can buy the tank for the nominal amount then test the tank themselves, or they can decline to buy the tank and fit their own. The old firm would then collect their tank.0 -
I am having the same problem as Gayle. We have an LPG tank. A month ago, I inititatied a switch from Avantigas to Calor gas as they are much cheaper. I have just received a call from Calor gas saying that Avantigas have failed to provide a refurbishment certificate for the gas tank within 28 days and that they are legally obliged to terminate the switch. I phoned Avantigas and they say they were not provided with a certificate from the third party that they used to refurbish the tank. I tried to ecalate the call to speak to a manager and they refused. They were extremely unhelpful and hung up on me. This is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and ANTICOMPETITIVE. There should be consumer protection to stop this.0
