Funny thing is I feel better for being off them. I've always been self reliant and wanting to do things my way.. (read as stubborn and controlling :rotfl: )
I'll happily admit that way back when I needed them though.

  • lol.... ok... I've changed my mind.. give me the pills! :rotfl:
Apparently they do get some people who end up a bit hyper if they drink with prozac, so you might have to limit the lambrini - exagerates the downsides of alcohol.
I used to share a house with medics at university.... they really aren't gods.... their day at work stories are a tad scary.

I've never been a Lambrini fan, but cherry Lambrini is a whooooooole different story! It tastes like those gorgeous cherry sweets you used to get.

Plus apparently they're after 20-25 hours a week. Meaning I'd have to do evenings AND weekends just to scrape the 20.... hmmm.

I think whether or not you get councelling for depression is a complete postcode lottery. I had PND / depression when DS was little, and after insisting I didnt want happy pills, then being given them and refusing to take them, then trying a different dr within the same surgery, I got a referral for councelling. I found it really helpful, even though I already knew my problem and only I could solve it, talking about my feelings with a professional really helped and I only had two sessions.

This time around (having moved area) I was fobbed off with 'stress', and sent away with a leaflet about improving sleep. Even though my symptoms are very similar to last time (started off different though), and even though a few people have tactfully suggested I needed medical help, none was forthcoming. Again I know the cause of the problem (and yes its the debt) so I took it upon myself. I decided no-one else was going to help me so I'd just have to sort myself out.

What Im saying is there a solution other than happy pills, if you want, and if you want counselling, it may be worth persisting to get a referral, but failing that theres a lot you can do on your own, support groups etc. herbal remedies, and even things like exercising, having 'me time' etc. all help. I think its horses for courses, you have to find out what works for you.

Good luck with the job hunting. It sounds like youve made a good effort.

They said that if I was successful with the phone interview that someone would be in touch in 7 days.... haven't heard anything else.

When is/was the 7 days up ? Surely they should have the decency to let you know esp. when you already work for them in a different dept.
