Santander Fixed Term ISA

Hi

I would like to transfer a Coventry Fixed Term Cash ISA to a new Santander Fixed Term Cash ISA and have a few queries that I hope somebody can help me with:

Am I right in saying that this doesn't count as this financial year's ISA does it?  I can still open another new Cash ISA if I want to?

Do i have to open the Santander account first before applying to transfer the money in from Coventry?

ISA transfers properly executed via the new provider's inward transfer process don't count towards the current year's contribution allowance, but you need to open the receiving account first.

If the Coventry ISA was opened in a previous tax year then it does not count to this year's allowance.

Has the Coventry fixed term ISA already matured? If not, when does it mature?
If it has matured did Coventry convert it to an easy access ISA or roll it forward into another fixed term ISA?

Probably when you open the new ISA, you will be asked then if you want to make a transfer in.
