Hungary Toll PCN from EPC and now Trace debt collectors

Hi,
Another toll charge question. I paid one then after getting another come through I chose to ignore after advice from this and other forums.
Almost a year later I have received a letter from Trace debt recovery on behalf of Euro Parking Collection on behalf of NUSZ Zrt ( Hungarian Toll )
Anyone else had this and ignored it? Is it yet another tactic to scare to pay?
Any help would be grateful.

Hello and welcome.
The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.
You might want to read this thread...
PCN from EPC PLC for vignette from Hungary2 -
Ignore... For the avoidance of doubt... ignore.
By responding and even worse, paying for the previous one, you were marked as a "mug" for future scamming.
I repeat... ignore.3 -
My concern is that now the ( so called ) debt is with a uk based company the jurisdiction has changed. I plan to ignore the scammers but have never ignored a court case that might arise as it’s now with a debt recovery company?
And yes I was a mug for paying the first one and learnt my lesson.0 -
Please re-read my earlier post.

If I were a debt recovery agent, I would love to discover your address and send you a demand for payment for, let's see... You owe me £300 because you were not wearing blue socks on a Wednesday whilst you were on holiday abroad and I allege that there was a sign that required you to do so. Because I am a company operating in England, and I have "jurisdiction" here to take you to court, why do you think that I'd simply be able to do so?
The alleged "debt" is still with whichever "authority" had the right to "fine" you. The debt collector is a third party with no legal standing to issue proceedings on another third party's behalf.
These debt collector scammers are getting fat on all the low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree that they manage to bamboozle.3 -
