Tunnel Avenue on the opposite side of the A102M has some free parking, walk to the Blackwall tunnel end of that road and there is a bridge, walk over and 5 minutes walk to the dome

These 2 came up on the NCP website!?!?!?

    I stand corrected.

I don't park my baby in NCPs so I never look for NCP carparks :o

Hope you have a great time

  • There seems to be loads of car parking in North Greenwich - there is the £20 official dome parking, £3 North Greenwich tube station parking, Holiday Inn express £3 for 24 hours (10 minutes walk) and Sainsburys 20 minutes walk (all going down towards Charlton).

I've never been there on a full house event but surely there must be enough parking if you arrive in plenty of time?

googlemaps....... westcombe park or charlton train stations.
plenty of free safe street parking and 15 min walk away, print off map to take with you.

I work in the area and do it all the time for the o2. After sitting in the car park for 15 mins at leaving time you will be lucky to have left your parking bay.

you will also be 2 mins drive from the A2 which will take you back to dartford

  • Hi. The good wife and I went to the O2 to see Prince play in September and I didnt want to pay £20 for a ticket. I went on some sites about parking there and found the following and it worked for us. Go past No 1 car park and go into car park No 4. If there is any one on the gate say your going in to the Dome to meet people for a meal, drink or cinema!!! Cost us £5 for the night.:D Being New Years eve you might be wise to check that other things are going on though!
    Nice to save.

Annie123, what streets do you recommend parking on? Will there usually be plenty of space to park? Many thanks for the advice by the way. I don't mind walking if it saves £20.

Actually, o2 have official parking for just £5. Only problem is its a first come, first served situation, but we are going to risk it for the Kylie gig, prefer to save not only £15 on the actual ticket, but also the £2.50 booking fee that most companies charge on top!

The events parking is car parks 1 & 2, so go to car park 4 which is £5 for 2+ hours, up until 12am. I know this as I emailed o2, they said they have never had a problem with people NOT being able to park :T http://www.theo2.co.uk/inside/car-parking-2.html you could always email customer services just to ask if unsure

So yeah, turn up on the day & park for £5, still the same walking distance (approx 350m apparently!)
