That letter is the court order

It gives the date of the pencilled in hearing , the date that the £27 fee should be paid by the claimant , and gives you both a deadline for submission of the WS bundle to both parties too, presumably it was 2 weeks before the,  or 4 weeks before the hearing   ?

Have you received the WS from the claimant or lawyers yet  ?  ( is it UKPC via Moorside Legal   ?  )

Read the WS advice in the newbies sticky thread in announcements,  second post

Talk of paying or settling at this crucial time is foolish, stick to the plan  !

Can you please post up a copy of the court order, (redacted as necessary); because, it's unusual for a hearing fee to be asked for 2 months after the WS deadline.

Sure! Here it the first page of the two documents I received separately.

I didn't receive anything from the other party? Do I still submit my documents? Who do I sent this to?

What is the difference between a hearing (3rd October) and a trial(15th October)?

Is the fee £27 to be paid by DCB legal? Is there anything I need to pay? What happens if they don't pay by 17th September? How do I find out if they did?

I've spent a few hours last night looking on past forum posts but not found anything like mine so sorry if this is a duplicate.

    Thanks!!

Ring the Guildford court and ask about the confusing two hearing dates and also ask if the Claimants submitted a witness statement or not?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I assume that you didn't counter claim,  so the £27 fee is paid on behalf of the claimant by DCB Legal,  or not. You don't pay anything.  If they fail to pay it by the deadline, the claim is struck out and the hearing vacated,  job done

You find out what coupon mad suggested and if the fee is paid by contacting Guildford court,  it's that simple,  only they and dcb legal know those answers

If you have not received the WS bundle from dcb legal,  plus if the court has not received it either, then both of you have failed to comply with the deadline set in that court order

So it wouldn't surprise me if its been discontinued and you should have received the N279 discontinuation document by email in your inbox or spam folder

Thanks both :) I shall look into this next week and report back.
I do not have a N279 in my inbox. The latest info I have from DCB legal is they offered me a settlement of £100 end of July.

What about your email spam folder   ?  Which is where they tend to go , it's certainly on track for a discontinuation

    Fingers crossed !!

Nothing in the junk/spam folder that I can see - would it come from the court or DCB legal?

    DCB Legal

But on Tuesday morning, ring the Guildford court and ask about the confusing two conflicting hearing dates and also ask if the Claimants submitted a witness statement or not?

Good afternoon - I reached out to the National Contact Centre for Civil & Family Court.
Have been informed that there is a hearing on 17th of September at 10 for which the claimant hasn't yet submitted a WS.
Then a trial on 15th October 10 am.

Seems excessive to have a hearing and a trial for this.....

Anyhows do I proceed and submit my WS even though the deadline of 4pm 22nd August has passed?

    TY
