Heathrow Drop-off - I paid for a drop-off for a later date

Apologies if this doesn't count as different enough to warrant its own theread, but before finding this forum and the newbie thread, I foolishly paid for a drop-off charge, I just selected the earliest date available to me (4 days after drop-off, 2 days after my 'deadline' for payment).
I worry that this could be considered an admission of driving, as I paid it before the PCN arrived.
Their notice has arrived 9 days after drop-off, so I assume I can't use that argument, unless I pretend I didn't receive this first notice...?
I have complained to Heathrow through their site that the post drop-off period is unreasonably short, considering you are able to pre-pay up to 12 months in advance, and mentioned that I have subsequently paid, just a couple of days late.

You could have paid 12 months in advance. But it took you four days to pay, after the actual drop off. What's your excuse?

Just use the below text as it is"This is an appeal by the registered keeper - No driver details will be given. Please do NOT try the usual Group Nexus Trick of asking for driver details in order to get around the fact your NTK does not comply with POFA. As there is no keeper liability then liability cannot flow from the driver to the keeper and thus is an auto win @ POPLA. Please therefore cancel the notice or issue a POPLA code where you will auto withdrawPS we know its non relevant Airport Land. The good folk of MSE forum know its non relevant land for POFATherefore we @ MSE know you cant win.
Your move........"2 -

I didn't realise I had to pay until driving into the airport, then after the 1.5h drive home (going straight to friends' for an afternoon BBQ), I forgot.

This is easily sorted using the above appeal or by just reading the Heathrow drop off group thread. So simple to beat.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

In your appeal you have explained that you are the registered keeper of the vehicle and declined the invitation to provide us with the full name and address of the driver. On this occasion we are prepared to exercise our discretion and have now cancelled this Parking Charge Notice. However, we must inform you that the terms and conditions in this location advise the driver that they must pay for each visit to the site. Signage is displayed at the approach to this drop off area, along the location and upon exit, advising all motorists that a payment to use the drop off area is required to be made online or by phone. As stated above, the terms and conditions of using the drop-off zones are displayed by way of clear signage. It is the responsibility of the motorist to read and comply with the signage on site.Cheers lads, I owe you a beer!3

Oops, my apologies!Don't suppose you know about getting around ULEZ fines, too?...that was an expensive trip to Heathrow. I didn't realise the zone extended to Heathrow, didn't even think to check whether I'd been charged.0
