Easyjet reply to application for compensation for flight cancellation. 

compensation request, we deeply regret to inform you that we cannot approve it in this instance. We understand this may not be the news you were hoping for, but please allow us to explain. Your flight was disrupted due to a medical emergency, an extraordinary circumstance that falls outside our direct control.

While we always aim to offer the best possible experience, the safety of our passengers and crew must always come first. In situations like this, emergency procedures are put in place to ensure everyone's safety, even though it may lead to unexpected delays or disruptions.

Just wondering if anyone else received same reply. Hope it wasn't true for the person concerned but how do I know it's not just a way for easyjet not to pay .
