This is normal for HSBC.jaypers said:Really wanted the HSBC RS so applied for their standard bank account on Monday…..already have a credit card with them. Said at the end of the application that it could take 10 days. Not received an email, no hard search showing on my credit file, no email or communication…..all seems a bit odd.

This was likely some time ago? These days the advanced account is a hollow shell and doesn’t really offer anything.
