SIP Parking Charge Notice- Appeal assistance required!

I received a parking fine letter on the 7th of September for a parking charge on the 28th of July. The time states 4:58:45pm- 19:00:01. It states the appeal window is closed and I can’t find any other way of getting in contact with them besides letters. The fine is £115, the reason for my appeal is, I used an app called ‘RingGo’ and have a receipt for purchasing a ticket. My ticket was valid from 5pm til 8am the next day. And it would have taken me a minute or so to purchase the ticket. Does anyone have any ideas whether the appeal will be valid and if so, how can I go about this. Btw this is the first letter I have received so I don’t think it’s fair that I have only received one letter and that’s after the appeal window is closed.

Its definitely not a fine, its a Parking Charge Notice PCN letter from SIP PARKING, an IPC AOS company

Its not £115 either, it's typically £100 or less, never more than £100 to start with , check the signs !

SIP are extremely unlikely to cancel the PCN

What is the allegation on the letter. ?  Non payment. ? Unpaid tariff time. ?  Taking too long to pay. ?

You could try an emailed complaint with a copy of the RingGo charge receipt , I suspect that it will be rejected

I would suspect that SIP issued a windscreen PCN to the driver on the day in question and got no reply ( regardless of whether the driver found it on the vehicle or not. )

You could definitely post an appeal letter with proof of the RingGo receipt included

Fairness never comes into it, it's currently an unregulated industry, despite parliament trying to regulate it

‘ The driver of the above vehicle is liable for a Parking Charge in the above amount which, at the date of this notice, remains unpaid in full and for which the Balance Due remains outstanding.

The reason the charge became due was: Vehicle not permitted and consideration period exceeded

Period of Parking From: 28/07/2024 at 16:58:43 To 28/07/2024 at 19:01:50

This charge relates to the period of parking specified above, the charge having been incurred for the reason stated and liability for the same having been brought to the attention of the driver by clear signage in and around the Site at the time of parking.

We, the above named company, are the creditor.

YOU ARE NOW REQUIRED TO PAY THE OVERDUE UNPAID PARKING CHARGE USING THE INSTRUCTIONS OVERLEAF.

    AMOUNT NOW DUE: £115

Please ring on our 24 hour payment hotline 0333 999 7575 to settle this amount immediately.’

This was copied and pasted from the letter. I have received a ‘final notice letter’ demanding £125 I have sent an appeal letter with the ring go recipient but have yet to hear anything. Thanks for your help

Ignore it all. Keep all the letters together.

Come back if you get a court claim from SIP which you must not ignore.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
