@ionafan that is soooooo annoying; I've done it myself a few times. A only uses cotton handkerchiefs but I blow my nose such a lot I use tissues. Speaking of A's handkerchiefs, when putting the bedding on earlier I discovered 7 of them behind the bed!@roundtuit I'm pleased your first trip in the car went well.We had a nice lunch with our friend and when we got back I put on fresh bedding, finished drying the bedding I washed this morning and made up the bag for the laundry (shirts for washing and ironing and bedding for ironing only). Putting fresh bedding on its one of my least favourite tasks - does anyone else feel like that? I also did the washing up - there seemed to be quite a lot considering we were out for lunch and I don't eat breakfast. It will soon be time for supper, although I still feel quite full from lunch so it will be something light for me.7

Morning all. Hope you're doing well today.
Solved wordle in four and got all four lines in connections. Very unlike me. My lie in must have done good.
Going to check banking first this morning then get dressed and walk Poppet. The only other plan is possibly gardening.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Good morning 😊
This week has been a blur....
DH returned safely from GNR 👍
New child met on Monday, started on Tuesday 👍 Temporary contract of a 4 yr old. Her background is complicated, but she is bright & sassy! She doesn't like going to 'baby' groups 🙄 I have booked & paid for the monthly rhs group for next Wednesday as I thought she would enjoy that, only to be told there is a change of plans & I don't have her next week 🤦♀️Oh well, my other little girl will enjoy it 😊
Talking of little girls.......we have welcomed DGD to the world on Thursday, weighing 7lb 9oz (after soooooo many scans because she was small!) She had a c-section in the end. Mother & baby are doing well and got home last night. They have called her Posy.
I have caught up on the thread - Round, well done on dealing with a stressful situation, and I'm glad you are okay. Enjoy your weekend.
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them and belated birthday wishes CoG
I need to get up, dressed & breakfasted. Also, stick a wash on & peg out before I head to DD2 to see what they need doing 😊
Have a good day, everyone x9 -
Congratulations GI.
Banking checked, not bankrupt yet. Must now wrap DDs pressies for her birthday tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
