Yes you likely would. Go for another telco provider. Several threads here already discuss people's poor experiences.

    Try the service obviously.
  • Three 5G was terrible for me and weather affected it quite a bit, meaning in storms etc we would lose connection or it would just go slow.
  • Three offer a 30 day money back guarantee with their 5G product. Try it and if it's !!!!!! send the router back and cancel.

Did it not switch automatically to 4G when the 5G signal dropped ?
I've been thinking of moving away from VM and Three was an option I am considering..... I'm seeing quite a few complaints but I suppose you only hear about those, you don't tend to hear from those who are happy with the service
  • I thought the same as the OP but am desperate to change now. Their service was very good initially, but has deteriorated significantly. Firstly the latency is awful and there are frequent service dropouts (especially at peak times - ie when we want to use internet access). The icing on the cake is that their support is awful too and it's nearly impossible to speak to someone and when you do they are hard to understand and can do nothing to fix except tell you to "turn it off and on again". Avoid!
