Not sure it was a good idea to show us your username and password to that suspect website.
You have also given us your vehicle's registration mark, thus easily leading to your name.
A case number and reference number are also shown.
I wonder what anyone could do with all that information?

When making your post did you see this banner across the top of the page...

Thank you all for your input.  Clearly a rookie mistake, which might come back and bite me someday. No I did not as I was using my mobile phone. Also I (family) have tried several various ways of using that login information on my PC and I get a message saying " login failed". The registration belongs to a vehicle in Italy.
I'll keep watching this space for more comments.
    Thank you.

Even if a solicitor is involved, you cannot be sued here for any traffic 'infraction' in Italy; even more so since Brexit.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Afternoon all. I posted here on the 05/24 regarding a traffic infraction in Italy. Numerous comments came through. Thanks.
Now I have received a letter from same said company that they would be handing over my issue to a solicitor.
I'm not really sure what to do with this.
Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Slightly better than your earlier post. At least this time you haven't shown the world your password.   :)
You have still shown us your username.
You have still shown us a case number and reference number.

Just ignore GCTT. Nothing will come of this. They are hoping you are low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree and will panic and pay into their scam out of ignorance.

What makes you think that GCTT can "instruct" any solicitor to initiate litigation? Ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore. Just to complete the advice... IGNORE.

QDR are a bottom-dwelling firm of failed legal wannabes that prey on the ignorance of their victims. They are simply a debt recovery outfit filled with intellectually malnourished individuals. There is simply no jurisdiction in this matter.

    Get on with your life.
  • Good afternoon folks. After my last two posts of which I got some positive feedback. I have now received a letter from the solicitors representing GCTT regarding my ticket in Italy.
Any thoughts on this as I am a little wary on how to proceed.
Not really wanting to end up holding the wrong side of the stick.
    Thanks

They're all peeing in the same pot. That's just another debt collector letter. Ignore it. If QDR are daft enough to attempt to issue court proceedings, the forum will be ready to help and watch them crash and burn!

Apart from other signals, the first few words of that letter gives the game away, where they say...
    We are instructed by ZZPS...
  • @ Umkomaas, dankie vir die help.

However, search the forum for GCTT ZZPS.

Laughable drivel. Nobody pays. Who cares if it goes to the usual QDR letter? Nothing happens. Read some threads.
    As above.

Already advised you about this QDR letter.  Also, if you did the search I suggested (in bold above) you would have seen that letter on other threads already and really should have been expecting it.

This is why i advise certain searches. You'd be far more confident if you were forewarned and forearmed by reading the search results of people ahead of you in this tediously boring ZZPS letter chain
