Return Apple Watch to currys

I’ve purchased an Apple Watch SE. I thought it would send notifications from my mobile to my phone as that it how I have seen others use their Apple Watches. I’ve since discovered this model does not do that.

I’m really miffed, as this was the main reason I bought it. I’ve opened the product. Will currys accept a return as their website says they’ll only accept returns for faulty items.

Apple watches do receive notifications from your iPhone. What notifications aren't you getting?

I have a Apple Watch SE & it works perfectly with my iPhone.

Also you may need to set the notifications for each app on the iPhone itself.

WhatsApp and other apps that I have on my phone. I haven’t received a text or phone call to test that

Just a typo. From my mobile to my watch. I have a. iPhone 11

Thanks, very helpful. My mums been in hospital for 4 months with stage 4 cancer . I have a 6 month baby at home as well as another child. I can barely string together a sentence at the best of times. I wanted the notifications on my watch so I can keep up to date with her condition whilst not having my phone in my kids faces 24/7
