DFS Sofa - Section 75

I purchased a sofa from DFS. Paid £100 on credit card and the remainder on 0% finance deal (with Creation) to be paid over 3 years. The sofa arrived faulty but DFS are refusing to refund saying there is no fault. Am I covered under section 75 and can I put in a claim with my credit card for the full amount or just the £100?

What is the fault with the sofa?0

There is a scratch on the leather and one of the legs could not be screwed in. DFS came out the repair the leg but they made new holes and now it is bent and out of alignment. They said the scratch is a surface scar but I disagree.Penguin_ said:What is the fault with the sofa?0 -

These are the photos of the sofa showing the fault.

Creation finance would be the best place to start with S75.Life in the slow lane0

Have DFS sent someone out to inspect the sofa?0

Yes a service manager came out who attempted to repair the leg as in photos above. But has now misaligned it. He put in his report that the leg has been fixed and the scratch is a surface scar.Penguin_ said:Have DFS sent someone out to inspect the sofa?0 -
Ive already put in a claim with credit card. Can I do the same with Creation Finance?born_again said:Creation finance would be the best place to start with S75.
Ive checked my credit card account just now, and there is £100 credit for “Dispute Adjustment”. They haven’t contacted me yet to say whats been done, only noticed on my online account.0 -
So they are just disputing the payment. That is not a S75 claim. Which would have no refund & take months to sort out.suleman4hmed said:

I would expect DFS to reject that, given their response to you already.
You can have a word with creation, as they have a bit more clout with DFS.Life in the slow lane0 -
It was done via the Nationwide “How to make a section 75 claim” which took me to the form “Credit card dispute form” under “Make a claim”.born_again said:

That £100 has been processed as a chargeback by the CC.suleman4hmed said:
