Very Annoyed!!!
If you have ever bought a computer from Currys check you are not signed up for Knowhow Cloud Storage. I have since 2015 and only noticed today. They have been taking annual subscriptions but had the wrong details for me so I was not getting any reminders. Done me for £360. They also have the cheek to put the prices up for a service that is not being used and never has. I have complained but they only refunded me for this year.

you should probably keep a closer eye on your bank account - then you would have noticed the money being taken

Might be a good time to have a good look through your bank accounts and credit cards to see if there is anything else you might have signed up for over the years. If you'd noticed it when they first debited it, and challenged it back in 2015, you'd have not lost the £360. I can understand your frustration - but if the outcome is that you keep an eye on things going forwards, you hopefully won't let it happen again.

As I said in my other thread "you must check your statements". you have to look out for yourself in this day n age.

edited. I got "scammed" as well, several years back. tune of a few hundred. Same sort of thing. This is the problem with online statements. It's much better having paper through your letterbox once per month, it prompts you to take 10 minutes to verify it. You've given some useful information which might help other people.

Why is it better to have such things on paper and via the letterbox? It's not hard to check an online statement for any unpleasant surprises if you are remotely organised.
