Connection problem between asda mobile and Lebara

Hi A relative has a smart phone on ASDA mobile and has trouble at times getting through to me and my wife, who are both on Lebara mobile. He just gets the message phone unavailable and it goes to voicemail.  Likewise at times we get the same result when calling him with it going to his voicemail. On other occasions we can get through no problem.  Really strange as both organisations use Vodaphone.  Any suggestions welcome. Oh and both postcodes show vodaphone availabilty as 5 bar.

Because the problem is intermittent it suggests that the problem is probably just poor signals at one or both ends. If there was a system problem Asda-Lebara then there would be no connectivity at all.

The postcode checkers are not much use when it comes down to individual connectivity, hyper-local geography (trees, buildings, hills, your dwelling's construction) are more likely to be the problem.

Is the problem showing in your home? Are you able to use Wi-fi calling?

I have had several contacts being blocked , incoming and outgoing.People trying to ring me got voicemail and likewise when i rang them. I seem to remember sometimes not even getting voicemail but the call failing Looking at my block list none of these numbers were present, but when i looked at the call history the word blocked was there. I missed an incoming important doctors call too. Googling the matter someone suggested it was a google  update causing the problem and the only solution found was to delete the contact then add it again. I found this to work too. As far as I'm aware this problem only affects numbers in your contacts . You could ask your relative to check his call history too
