Ultra fast NO from Stellantis

Just submitted enquiry form to Stellantis and got a reply in seconds to say that they had checked their records and there was no record of discretionary commission in my case - is it common for such a rapid survey and conclusion

Doesn't seem right to me

Computers do tend to be fast.
They have had plenty of time to set up databases of cases in the period covered, which can be checked in seconds with the information supplied.

Bit of a aside, but it is not a given that anyone will get anything. Due to FCS not going to make any decision till next year.

You may have heard of computers.  A fantastic invention that allows simple things to be automated and turned around quickly.  Indeed, you used a computer to type a message on a website and are getting responses within hours.    You didn't need to post it via Royal Mail and wait for a response.  It just happens so quickly because of computers.  ;)

It is very easy for automation to respond quickly when they know it is not the case.  The slow cases are the unsure cases.      So, the computer checks and if it can find you and can see no DCA applied, the computer will send the no DCA response.   If it cannot match you then it will send a different response.  If it matches and finds DCA applied, then it will send the appropriate response.

Why do you think it should take any longer?
