Gigaclear? (also talktalk as an option)

May be a duplicate thread but if anyone can put in their 2 pence.
Any opinions on Gigaclear? they've just given me a quote which has the right numbers (about £20/month, 200Mb+ download speed, dialtone as £3/pm or £9/pm extra). Can anyone suggest if this a decent provider, or would you steer clear of them? they've advised me they'll need to dig up a few feet of pavement for the property I'll be moving into in 1 months time, they've given me a 2-3 week estimated lead time (however accurate that is)
18 months contract, with the ability to switch if it increases mid contract.
Talktalk have also given me a £26/month quote, that includes a dialtone. That'll probably be about 25Mb/sec.
Plusnet didn't have the option of a dialtone but were £27/pm, 24m contract with possible 10% increase once, probably 30Mb download. BT I couldn't get through after 10 minutes. So I would say Plusnet and BT are disregarded.
Talktalk I'm aware of as a standard provider, I've done a search for gigaclear reviews and got pretty much what I completely expected (terrible, avoid at all costs). But having written reviews myself I'm fully aware you often only tend to write them when there's a problem.
appreciated in advance

Well, I have gone ahead and started the order. Am waiting for a phone call to say "we're sending a van to dig up some pavement". The contract is actually "£46/month with a £27 discount for 18 months", giving it as £19 per month for 18 months. So........hopefully that is.......£19 (give or take) for 18 months.0

They've dug up 2 ft of pavement to lay some fibre between the pavement and the house. so far so good.0

Gigaclear came to our Road and laid their network cables but said they were concentrating on the other half of our town. This was in the spring. Now they are nowhere but trooli came along and laid their own fibre optic network but where too expensive. Talktalk set me (an existing customer) onto a new 24 month contract just because I moved within the town. Now at an end so want to give them the heave ho out of spite!0
