NCP auto pay didn't work and appeal refused

Received a PCN few weeks ago from Gatwick airport. Assumed it may have been a technical issue as I have autopay set up on the app. Appealed with the relevant information about my account etc.
Today received a response:
"Thank you for your appeal received on 19/08/2024 regarding the above detailed Parking Charge Notice, we have reviewed your case and considered the comments you have made. Your appeal has also been considered in conjunction with the evidence gathered at the time of the contravention. Our records show the notice was correctly issued as your vehicle was in breach of the Terms and Conditions.
At the time of the contravention your vehicle registration appears on multiple ParkPark accounts and is therefore causing the issue with payment not being taken automatically.

Please remove the vehicle registration from any unused accounts to resolve the issue.
We are therefore unable to cancel the Parking Charge Notice as it was issued correctly. We have now extended the discounted payment period by a further 14 days to allow you time to pay the discounted settlement amount. Please now make payment of £60 to reach us by 19/09/2024 or £100 to reach us by 03/10/2024. We must advise you that once the discounted
settlement rate passes it will not be offered again."
I have no idea what other account my vehicle registration is on to start with.
Any advice on how to go about this?

Shame as If you had come here first you would have won easily
People need to stop doing "what happened on the day'3 -
I really hope you didn't admit to driving? 100% win awaited you as registered keeper; it would have been cancelled with one email.
Now you should try POPLA and (assuming you no longer have the 100% winning position due to - probably? - implying who was driving) get NCP to prove why autopay didn't work and which 'other accounts' this VRM is supposedly on, and why on earth that stops autopay.
May or may not win but even if you lose at POPLA you don't pay!
I hope we are wrong and you in fact appealed carefully as registered keeper, as per the NEWBIES thread advice? Such an easy one.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi original poster was wondering what date the original fine was from as my husband today recieved a fine for gatwick when he has also got autopsy set up and I seem to see more and more people having this same problem and maybe their system wasn't working at that time0

I got them to rescind one of these a while ago under similar circumstances i.e. registered for autopay and didn't go through.
Appealed as keeper and offered them the £5 due for the drop off fee, quoting relevant land provisions. They accepted with the usual drivel of "gesture of goodwill blah blah blah"
Their problem if their system doesn't work as it should, provided you've not admitted to driving.
My thread, which may or may not be of use to you depending on what you've already written to them.
