Apologies if this question has been asked before.
My 1 Yr Fixed Rate ISA with Shawbrook Bank matures on 20/09/2024. I am considering opening a Natwest 1Yr Fixed Rate ISA and completing an ISA transfer request for the Shawbrook ISA to be transferred to it observing any notice period. So the earliest the transfer could be completed would be 21/09/2024.
Section 4.3 of Natwest's Fixed Rate ISA Terms pdf states:
-
We accept balance transfer requests from external ISA managers so long as we receive the request by the “Last date for receipt by us of external ISA transfer requests” as shown in the Information Sheet. Funds must be available to be transferred by the Start Date as shown in the Information Sheet. You should speak with your current ISA manager for information about any notice period required to be given to them and any charges that apply.
Where can I find said "Information Sheet"? The only info I can find about date deadlines is in the Key Dates section of the Fixed ISA Overview webpage, where it states:
Closing date to open your account (New Customer) - 28 August 202
Closing date to open your account (Existing Customer) - 02 September 2024
Last date for receipt by us of external ISA transfer requests - 02 September 2024
Last date for receipt by us of NatWest internal ISA transfer requests - 18 September 2024
Last date to make payments or withdrawals - 20 September 2024
Start Date - 24 September 2024 Given that the Start Date of the Natwest ISA is after the date that the Shawbrook funds will be available to be transferred I am assuming it will be ok in theory, but in practice are the funds likely to be transferred before the Start Date given that it's only 3 days later?

I assume you're an existing NW customer 'cos if not, you've missed the Aug 28th deadline to open the account?
So, other than that, the 02/09 deadline is for the 'request', not the transfer. So open the account along with the transfer the request by 02/09 - job done.
It's then up to Natwest to progress the transfer to completion.
It will probably become clearer when you populate the transfer form.
FTAOD I've not read the terms nor checked your dates.2
