Hi
I have a transfer to Nationwide of my Stocks and Shares ISA started on 09 May 2024.
It took until 18 Jun 2024 to sell the units and now the money just sits there.
I've chase VM many time but just get stock answers. Raised complaint.
I found out that Nationwide have been chasing VM too.
Sent email to Financial Ombudsman Service - no response so far.
Its now been 113 days.

What is going on in VM?
What can I do to get my money?
Anyone else having problems getting money out of VM

Any advice will be appreciated.

As it is a S&S ISA, has Nationwide applied to the correct VM entity to action the transfer? IIRC, they have a separate group company dealing with investments. The sale of shares suggests they did, unless you requested that separately of VM.
It is a common problem, even for cash ISAs. The FOS should eventually see you compensated for the lost interest.
  • Thanks for your thoughts.
I guess I just have to keep waiting.
Also I just wanted to let others know in case they are having a similar issue.
