Need someone to countersign so I can swap homes but don't know anyone, what do I do?

I'm meant to be doing a mutual exchange in less than 2 weeks but have just been emailed by my housing association saying that I need someone to countersign a document on DocuSign. Can't be a family member or the person I'm swapping with/any of their family members either. The thing is I don't really have any friends anymore (I'm fairly new here and haven't kept in touch with my old ones), I recently split up with my partner so that's not an option either (would probably be classed as family anyway). No work colleagues as I don't work. So what do I do? I'm really worried I won't be able to move now, I hate it here and have already spent a lot of money on the swap. Can I get a family member (who doesn't share my surname of course) to do it or will they find out? Or just make up a fake name/address? Maybe the person I'm swapping with will know someone who can do it but probably won't knowing my luck.

It doesn't need to be somebody who knows you at all, why not a neighbour?1

Are you registered at your local doctors or hospital?, someone there could sign it.

I don't get on with the upstairs neighbour and don't know the others at all, it'd be totally weird to ask and they'd probably say no anyway lol.subjecttocontract said:Neighbour ?0 -

Why, will they find out? Says all they want is a name and address, easy enough to fake. Will they actually check/speak to them? How will they know if I get for example my sister (who has a different surname) to do it?lookbook said:Don't fake it.0 -
Have you explained your problem to the Housing Association? They may have other suggestions.0
