iPhone 15 pro contract price vs 16 pro

Options
My old iPhone SE has finally given up the ghost. I’m currently on a sim only deal from Voxi for £10 for 50gb or so.

I’m looking at buying a new phone.  Obviously the iPhone 16 is due to be released early September.  Does anyone know if the current contract prices for the 15 are discounted?  I’m happy with the 15, but don’t want to pay “full price” if the 16 will be available for the same price in a couple of weeks.

If the sim only deal suits you why look at contracts. Just look at buying a new/2nd hand phone & use the same sim.

It's impossible to know how much Apple will charge for the 16 Pro at launch or what contract deals there will be. However, I can tell you that the 15 Pro has reduced in price since launch last year (by around £100).

You can currently get the 15 Pro for £29.99 a month (£219 upfront) which has unlimited mins and texts with 150GB of data. It is available on ID Mobile via Carphone Warehouse. If you go via Top Cashback, you will also get £50 cashback. This comes to around £889 over the 24 months of the contract.

The phone costs £899 if you buy it from Argos and that doesn't include a SIM which will cost extra. Therefore, a contract will be significantly cheaper than buying outright with separate contract.

That's a stonking deal. If you take off what you'd pay for 150gb data then that makes the phone around £500.
That's preowned iPhone 13 pro money from the likes of CEX.

It is. ID Mobile and Carphone Warehouse seem to be very competitive on pricing lately. I got a 15 Pro last November for £29.99 a month and paid £329 upfront and then got £55 cashback via Top Cashback. The contract has unlimited mins and texts and 250gb of data. ID also have data rollover, so any unused data rolls over to next month (so I have close to 500gb of data every month), gives you free EU roaming up to 30gb per month, and allows unlimited tethering. Some people complain about the quality of service, but I haven't had any issues (yet).
