One final question if I may? I have followed the instructions and exchanged paragraphs 3 and 4 for my own case. I have read through the reminder of the defence document, however not being someone with any legal background, can I hope that the remainder of the document is fairly generic in these kinds of cases? I don't see anything glaring that can't possibly apply, but I'm not wholly convinced I'd necessarily spot it if it were there? Thanks so much.

The template defence was written by one of the most experienced contributors to the forum and has been used by many posters with success. What have you "exchanged" and have you edited paragraph #4 as you are only supposed to add your details to paragraph #3 (unless you have more to say and have added extra paragraph(s)). If you want to show us your modifications we will be pleased to critique it and then you can add it to the rest of the template and send as directed in the instructions. Please, though only show what you have changed, we don't need to see the whole template!
ETA I see you have added paragraph #4 due to additional information and been given the go-ahead here 9 September at 11:56PM <<<<LINK2 -
Phhh! I believe that you could put a simple limerick or nursery rhyme as your para #3 defence and as long as you follow the procedure, DCB Legal would still discontinue before any hearing.2

Good afternoon everyone. DQ received. I've read the Newbies thread and the relevant pages relating to the new additional questions but I can't find a clear answer about Question D, 'Suitability for determination without a hearing' - am I correct this is No, I don't consider it suitable? It says, "If No. Stay why not", but I'm not sure "Because I want a hearing" is going to cut it.....0

There is a typical template paragraph I have seen in numerous threads about that aspect, possibly linked in the instructions in the newbies sticky thread in announcements1

But how to answer the not so new question D1 is already in the NEWBIES thread. It's been there for over a year.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
