dunstonh said:Ichrissiewants2save said:Black Horse Finance - I gave all the information needed and received one acknowledgement, early this year. I've now received 2 letters dated 29/10/24 and 30/10/2024 because they can't find a finance agreement, asking for the same information I already had supplied them earlier this year. Figure that out? Putting people off tactics? 😱
You need to be a bit more patient.Chrissie

I currently have a claim running with Black Horse (via a 3rd party claim company 🙄). They have recently updated me, like they have done every few months. Whilst the FCA investigation continues I have been made aware that apparently now the Chancellor / HM Treasury have now stepped in to sought to make representations to the Supreme Court that would protect lenders from compensation claims.I am hoping this isn't bad news, but we will just wait and see. Both this claim and another one with Honda Finance are both "No win, No Fee"!0

I currently have a claim running with Black Horse (via a 3rd party claim company 🙄).oh dear, not much you can do about that now other than regret that decision.I am hoping this isn't bad news, but we will just wait and see. Both this claim and another one with Honda Finance are both "No win, No Fee"!You would hope they wouldnt charge you because all they have done is sent your name, address, DOB and agreement number, if known, to the lender using the free-of-charge complaints process that you would have used if you had done it.Whilst the FCA investigation continues I have been made aware that apparently now the Chancellor / HM Treasury have now stepped in to sought to make representations to the Supreme Court that would protect lenders from compensation claims. The Supreme court has rejected the Treasury intervention but has accepted the FCA. There are also further appeals to hear. The FCA are currently saying late 2025 but many expect it to be put back to 2026 or even 2027.
