Hugs to HB xx
I've filled the birdbath and the hedgehog's dish. I've watered the hanging basket. I've spent another HH 'attacking' the pampas... and my brown bin is now flup, and not due to be emptied until a week on Thursday. I have a stash of large heavy duty bin bags.... they will do!
Cooling down now.

HB hugs I have nothing useful to add, that hasn't already been said.Kitchen was done earlyWalking has been done, on the last 1/3 of the steps, so on target for the 3rd week of September.Garden wheele bin also full up here as well, I've cut back / dug over a flower bed, sorted the area where the spuds grew this year, sorted out and replanted the strawberry runners, one a load of weeding.Just taken part in Octopus free electric 1 - 2pm over and above what you would normally use, OH and I had just about everything we own that charges plugged in, so it will be interesting to see how much we 'saved' bearing in mind they are still faffing about with my bill from the month of July, I don't hold out much hope, but you never know.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

@Honey_Bear sorry to hear about your problems and frustrations. I can empathise as pretty much all problems fall to me to sort out now. I hope you can get your drain problem sorted out soon - sending spoons. Not much flying done here in the last few days beyond the daily basics, although I did clean the kitchen yesterday and have a vac around. Took A to the optician yesterday as his new glasses had still not arrived after two weeks and his double vision has deteriorated so he needs them. The problem was that the frames were out of stock with the importer and so he went in and chose some others that are in stock. They said they could get them made up quite quickly - we'll see.Our friend in P in Plymouth looks to be in his care home permanently. A friend has offered to come and look after A so that I can go and visit P and I have put this to his nephew who is going to ask P if he would like me to visit. I had a dream last night that he said 'no' so I hope that doesn't turn out to be the case. When you try to do anything for him though he tends throws up his perceived barriers (it will cost you too much, it's inconvenient for you etc., etc), so we will see.5

I really thought that I had posted this morning. Then this afternoon. Then apparently not at all 😳. If I chop and freeze / cook / blanch another vegetable I think I will scream. That summarises my day. However, on the plus side, the allotment has provided dinner, tomorrow’s dinner, and a contribution to future dinners in the freezer. Little else done today, save wm x 2.
HB, nothing to add of any use to you, but hugs aplenty coming your way x
CoG, hugs to you as well. You always go about everything so positively, that I hope a hug from a random flylady won’t go amiss x
Well done on the walking, Kaz. You are amazing with your walking goals.
I have a list for tomorrow. ‘Tis rather long. I do so like to set myself up to not succeed.5 -
Good morning 😊
I am awake & taken a cuppa back to bed. Yesterday was a waste of a day really as I did very little. Friday I had the afternoon off, so I vac'd up downstairs and mopped all hard floors, including the bathroom. I also did the food shop.
Last night I started to do the mobile. I have played about with paper to get a flower shape I like. I'm not quite there yet!
DH has just got back from a run, so there will be washing to do. I should get up really.....
HB Sending hugs your way. I feel for you. Some people can be mentally/emotionally draining! And I totally get your frustration with plumbing issues!
Round Happy birthday! 🎂
I missed Thursday's list....I may do that today 😬
Have good day everyone5 -
Good morning,
Happy Birthday, Round 😘xx
White rabbits x 3.
And happy new year to those who celebrate. If you do, you know 😉. New start, new notebook. And it feels like autumn in the air outside. Love it.
Some things don’t change - wm on and there is HHI to tackle, but I WILL get something - anything - off my weekend list.
Have a lovely day all. Hugs, sticks and spoons to share x

Hallooooo xx
Happy New Year 🥳
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I'm up, dressed, made my bed, supped two brews, completed Wordle and Connections (yayyyy- finally. Lost one life), cold pizza eaten for breakfast 😋.
Had a lovely evening with DS and his DF - pizza, chips, and a movie: Deadpool. My choice. Made me wince occasionally; made me laugh too. DS was surprised that I knew what the reference to 'teabag' meant 🤣
Started the day with a call from Pops. They are on a Mystery Tour this weekend and he was phoning from a hotel near Coventry. Opened my cards and my ecards- thank you iona xx Lots of WhatsApps, Messengers, and FB messages.
It's raining. Not seen a forecast. Bit nippy too. Might need to put on my new slippers. Thank you P & S. The gift bag has already been put away with the stash to be reused at some point.
Pondering whether to have another brew. Or a coffee. Looked at the time. Coffee it is. Join me?

Morning all. Happiest of new years and happy birthday Round.
I have done a bit of flying this week but none this morning. About to load the car with food for a village event this afternoon. We've just had a heavy shower so I'm singing rain, rain, go away!
Enjoy Sunday everyone.Spend less now, work less later.6 -

Thank you all so much for your support yesterday. It really helped me turn the corner back to stability. I can't work out how not to fulfill the commitnents I have made to two emotionally draining people but at least I have identified the other things that also added to the feeling that I had nothing left to give. There was something in particular and I can have a word with the people concerned so it doesn't happen again. Belovéd very kindly arranged for someone else to go with him to something last night so I could spend the whole day doing what I wanted to do and that helped enormously.Today I've spent most of my time doing physically tiring stuff around the house but that's all done and I'm having a rest. There is more stuff on the CS pile, there is stuff in the bin, and there may very well be more going in the recycling later. Belovéd is dealing with his sofa, a massive job, so it's a huge relief I don't have to do that, and I've put a wood restorer oil on our dining table which has had an amazing effect on it. I think I should have been doing that regularly - we've had it 25 years and I've never done anything to it so the fact that it looks amazing has delighted me. I don't often get that kind of feeling from Flying, so yay me.CoG, I'm aware that every carer puts their own wants, wishes and ambitions on hold and I'm in awe of you being so patient about your life and the endless washing up. Thank you for your kind thoughts. I'm in Plymouth, as you know. If you have the time if and when you do venture down here to visit your friend we could meet up for a coffee. Or not. Either is fine with me.Better is good enough.5
