Thursday’s list was just the ticket…

I have teak oiled the patio furniture…one table, two chairs.  Emptied shed, swept out.  removed upside down bracket, lashed the pieces of wood which make a raised bed together, thrown lots.  Removed cardboard box from garden and admired the frog under it…actual frog #1, put everything back tidily, re attached the plank of wood to side of shed and strimmed garden (admiring frog #2, a mich lighter green) until strimmer ran out of cord.  Showered,  went to buy new reel for strimmer,  made tea the. went to sit with ma. Started knitting but stopped because she kept asking what i was knitting…she wanted the tv volume up but couldn’t tell me that using any appropriate words.

DW and WM locked and loaded.  2 appts (oncology and pharmacy) both by phone

not planned tomorrow yet but my car needs a wash…

How come it's afternoon already????  Oh yes, I didn't wake up until 9.45....  think I must have been tired (I was awake for an hour from 5-6.00, when I drank a cuppa and completed Wordle in 4 and Connections with the loss of only one life, so let's pretend I got up at 8.45).

e-card sent to DD for her birthday, on their sailing holiday in Greece - slightly jealous, moi?  Breakfasted.  Showered.  Dressed.  S&S'd kitchen and bathroom.  DH stripped his own bed.  I made mine.  WM whirling and 2nd load waiting.  Dog walker paid.  Bank accounts checked: looking surprisingly healthy for this time of year, so frugality has paid off, but I have very few wearable autumn or winter clothes, so a shopping trip is on the cards for next week, once the Back to School signs come down in Merry Hell.

Rosie is now home from her walk and dreaming of rabbits.  I shall swap WM loads and hang out, then find some lunch: bread and cheese will be just fine.   DH had a call from the GP nurse this morning to say that his potassium levels are too low so he must have an emergency prescription and they'll arrange another blood test next week, so I need to take a trip to the pharmacy.  Otherwise my plan for the afternoon is to sort more photos.

Hope the shoe search is successful, pigpen x
