washing in. washing out, washing machines on a clean cycles
Appointment for repeat bloods refused.. I have been anaemic since I was 3.. I cannot take medication.. so having blood tests to tell me I am still anaemic with no available treatment.. it seems a waste of resources. They also wanted me to redo the urine test for the Uti I had antobiotics for.. because.... there were leukocytes and nitrates in the sample.. the 2 main signs of infection... well no sheets Sherlock!! I refused to do that too.. the whole point was they got the 'before AB's' sample not 'sample after a week of antibiotics when things are better' . The woman on the phone couldn't even say leukocytes and didn't know what they were.. she said she would 'have to speak the the doctor about this!' ... like I am a naughty child haha... Anyway, it's back to it's normal level of 'low grade infection' so we are good.

Thursday’s list was just the ticket…
I have teak oiled the patio furniture…one table, two chairs. Emptied shed, swept out. removed upside down bracket, lashed the pieces of wood which make a raised bed together, thrown lots. Removed cardboard box from garden and admired the frog under it…actual frog #1, put everything back tidily, re attached the plank of wood to side of shed and strimmed garden (admiring frog #2, a mich lighter green) until strimmer ran out of cord. Showered, went to buy new reel for strimmer, made tea the. went to sit with ma. Started knitting but stopped because she kept asking what i was knitting…she wanted the tv volume up but couldn’t tell me that using any appropriate words.
DW and WM locked and loaded. 2 appts (oncology and pharmacy) both by phone
not planned tomorrow yet but my car needs a wash…Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

How come it's afternoon already???? Oh yes, I didn't wake up until 9.45.... think I must have been tired (I was awake for an hour from 5-6.00, when I drank a cuppa and completed Wordle in 4 and Connections with the loss of only one life, so let's pretend I got up at 8.45).
e-card sent to DD for her birthday, on their sailing holiday in Greece - slightly jealous, moi? Breakfasted. Showered. Dressed. S&S'd kitchen and bathroom. DH stripped his own bed. I made mine. WM whirling and 2nd load waiting. Dog walker paid. Bank accounts checked: looking surprisingly healthy for this time of year, so frugality has paid off, but I have very few wearable autumn or winter clothes, so a shopping trip is on the cards for next week, once the Back to School signs come down in Merry Hell.
Rosie is now home from her walk and dreaming of rabbits. I shall swap WM loads and hang out, then find some lunch: bread and cheese will be just fine. DH had a call from the GP nurse this morning to say that his potassium levels are too low so he must have an emergency prescription and they'll arrange another blood test next week, so I need to take a trip to the pharmacy. Otherwise my plan for the afternoon is to sort more photos.
Hope the shoe search is successful, pigpen x
How's your headache, round? x
It's very nearly the weekend!

Still trying to track down where the problem is with the bathroom plumbing but if what I'm doing now doesn't work I don't know what to try next.Exhausting week, with a 3.25 hour lunch with someone who only has one subject of conversation - herself, followed by bumping into a neighbour who seems permanently depressed - it'd been four years - and therefore has no other subject, followed by a nonsense text from someone who whinges about everything. I was at my wits end that day and shouted at the dog in the end. Sorry Dog. I think she's forgiven me.I've kept on top of the dailies and the sun is out so I'm going to tackle some paperwork.Better is good enough.5

HB is it clean water or waste water leaking?? waste water is easy.. put food colouring down the drain.. clean water is harder, I lay toilet paper along pipes until it finds dampness. It usually works.
Fridge cleaned.. I found the smell.. half a bag of prawns C1/2 had left in there since goodness knows when. The engineer ordered a part and will be back next week
OH put the cupboard on the wall then pulled it back down tryting to level it up.. I am not impressed..
WM1 has had 4 clean cycles and is tipping out all things gross so is being wiped, rinsed, re-cleaned ... and I dug half a cat out of the outside of the doorseal... I filled half a binbag and a maggot bin from clearing the fridge.
My knees are killing!

Feeling decidedly as if I am never flying, so I Wordled and Connected - that counts, right? I am obviously wired differently to y’all as today was obviously the day that the setter was on my wave length.
I have a mahoosive list in my head for the weekend. I need to write it down. I have changed DD’s bedding and loaded the wm for the morning, so that I get a head start. Now I need to book a grocery delivery slot - DD rampaged through my food stores before going back to uni city for the weekend. She did leave chocolate cake though, so I might sneak a slice of that whilst DH is out…

So... washing on the line was towels/bathmat to bake dry in the sun. Went for a walk with my friend, along the canal (the grotty bit actually) BUT WE SAW A KINGFISHER so that was the highlight of the day (if not year,,,)
Minced grass (and that is definitely the correct description, thanks Piggers) and I had to strim. the two longer sections so I'm hoping they dry out and I can have another go at it over the weekend. DD sent into shed to admire tidiness of same.
Waiting to get in bathroom to shower before bed as it's clean sheets and I was dripping while mowing/strimming.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
