Lifeline and Ultrafast Fibre Broadband

Hi
SKY have upgraded my area to Ultrafast Fibre Broadband, the only problem i have is my mother had a Lifeline. Until it is upgraded to a digital Sim router, i cannot upgrade my broadband.
Anyone else having the same problem?

Its an issue for the lifeline provider to resolve. What are they suggesting?0

They visited to install a new system last week, said they were having problems, so rescheduled another visit for 3 Sept0

You must be smarter than me. I have spent hours online and on the phone trying to get a written / downloadable offer from Sky to compare with my current contract with Plusnet. Landline and broadband, which is coming up for renewal. All indications are that this is asking for the impossible. How these guys stay in business is beyond me.Telegraph Sam
