I just had another look - some way down their privacy webpage there is an email address for a privacy data officer. I had only looked on their 'Contact Us' page which just shows their automated payment line & appeal link.Coupon-mad said:Odd. PPCs all have a data privacy webpage.0 -
Thats the one, email a SAR to that DPO, adding a copy of the V5c or 2 redacted utility bills as proof of I D2

I appreciate all the responses so far, I received another PCN 2 days ago for exactly the same reason (not expecting any more) - didn't mention this one yet as wasn't sure whether to treat it as completely separate.
I've had limited time to deal with this so far, very busy week with work & children. I'll need to find some proper time soon to try and understand everything better, gather evidence & write up a better update. Really appreciate your time and advice so far, thank you people.0 -
Email the SAR now though.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I just wanted to thank this forum community for everything you do & add some closure to what happened.
I managed to get in direct contact with the landowner, who offered to cancel both PCNs for £20 each, which I agreed to.
I can't say I was entirely satisfied with the outcome, but it seemed a lot more reasonable than the £100 on the original PCNs.
Sorry I didn't update much sooner, I hope better late than never applies here.
(Also, the visited tenants decided to move out not long after that, so haven't had any such problems since!)

Some of these scummy PPC's allow a landowner a number of free cancellations per month after which they make an admin fee payable, I suspect this is what happened here. It's still a predatory scam!
