OP
When you sold the vehicle and notified DVLA, did you give DVLA your new address for them to reply?.2 -
Sorry does anyone have any links of very clear and completed witness statements and draft orders for my type of scenario? I am reading everyone's threads which are suggested on the newbies thread and I am finding myself getting more and more confused as I go on!0

Definitely not an offence, no offence was committed, just an alleged breach of the parking contract on that private property, leading to the NTK PCN letter, the invoice
The Claimant should have done a trace on the keeper at the time of the contravention before issuing the claim form to an incorrect address
pendant mode ON, its could have, not of, so ensure that correct words are used in this legal process1 -
I already give you a username link in the NEWBIES thread CCJ set aside section. That's what username links are provided for, requiring you to click on it and see from a name link what a posting profile shows you. It's already there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

i’m getting everything together now and when getting evidence of moving of address there is a possible hiccup, just wanting to know if this is going to affect my case!
Between May 22 to Sept 23 (moved back to parents address) my partner was not on an electoral register which the local council have confirmed… is this going to make the claimants case stronger? or do I have the saving grace that from Sept 23 to now he is on the electoral register and when the case was heard he was showing as being registered?0 -
I suspect that its irrelevant, most people can be traced through credit reference agencies etc, for around 29p, so there are other sources apart from the council register, the real question is, did they take reasonable steps to trace the person, or not. ?
If not, then they should have done, a judge is more likely to grant a set aside if the Claimant failed to follow the processes, plus if the defendant has a reasonable chance of defending the original claim1 -
Yep it is irrelevant.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

hi all received another letter from DCBL, wording different to the last ones we have received- should I be worried?
We have written to you previously but the outstanding balance remains unpaid.
You have an unpaid County Court Judgment (CCJ) and Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd (DCBL) have been instructed to collect the outstanding balance on behalf of our Client.
As the balance is still outstanding, DCBL have now recommended to our Client to begin enforcement action against you. We must point out that the balance may increase due to Court fees and other costs associated with Court enforcement action which can include (but is not limited to):
A Warrant of Control
: Achaging ore onyour on
A Charging Order on your property
Avoiding Further Action
Please note that, at this stage, unless instructed otherwise, DCBL will continue to pursue the outstanding balance if this remains unpaid and you are encouraged to seek your own independent legal advice.
To ensure no enforcement action is taken, you should make immediate payment by scanning the QR code below.
Details of other ways to pay are on the reverse of this letter. To discuss your case, please call 0203 597 3959.
Failing to make Payment
You now have 14 days from the date of this letter to either pay the outstanding amount or call us to discuss repayment. This case is not currently subject to High Court or bailiff action, however should you fail to contact us, our Client will be updated and they may instruct enforcement action against you.

If it is under £600 they won't enforce it.
