UKPC fines

After parking on a private car park I have received 2 parking charge letters from UKPC. The first occasion was on 05/07/2024 and the second 26/07/2024. However, I letters are both dated 10/08/2024 which I did not receive until 16/08/2024. I'm unsure on the time they have to notify but this seems a long time to send a letter. I have parked there once since so I'm guessing I will receive another - but who knows when!
The car park is an indoor go karting place and has a sign stating it is for their customers only, however nothing about charges or fines until you're actually in the car park. I assumed the go karting place was shut, and I was only parked there for 11 minutes both times.
The fines are £60 if paid within 14 days or £100 thereafter.
Should I appeal due to the time it has taken to send the letters? I probably would have paid if I just had one fine and it was sent within 7 days or even 14 days, but 6 weeks seems an awful long time to receive in the post.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For keeper liability to apply, they have to arrive within 14 days of the incident date, so 14 actual days, by day 15, no exceptions
For drivers liability to apply, they have to obtain keeper details within the 6 months deadline after the incident and have one month to get the PCN to the recipient, making a total of 7 months
They are definitely NOT fines, just private parking charge notices from a private company. ( Magistrates issue fines, they are not involved here, no magistrates or magistrates court )
First task, redact each PCN but leave the standard information showing, including all the dates etc, no personal information, no VRM or reference number etc, those are personal data details, not required on here, not allowed
Then read the newbies sticky thread and follow plan A, getting the business or managing agent or landowner to cancel them both if you were a legitimate patron or customer there2 -
Thanks for your reply Gr1pr. I'm a bit unsure on the liability - the letters have taken over 14 days to arrive. As stated in their letter they are writing to me as the registered keeper after checking the vehicle details with the driver and DVLA.
Apologies - I'm not clued up with this and I'm working my way through the newbies thread.0 -
I gathered that, hence why I asked for redacted pictures before you start your research , because we wanted to check liability too. Pictures paint a thousand words . My bet is that they are not POFA compliant NTK s
Is this business on a retail park. ? If yes, who are the managing agenta for the retail park. ?0 -
As shown in the NEWBIES thread, top of this board, these are 'non-POFA' and so the keeper wins at POPLA as long as the keeper appeals. NOT THE DRIVER.
It's why we have a template appeal in that thread, to stop people blowing their toes off talking about what they dd!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If its somebody else, complain about the PCNs to them as keeper and insist on a cancellation, plan A
Nothing beats plan A. ( If you have a faulty argos product, you complain about it to Argos. If evri mislaid your delivery, you complain about it to the retailer, not evri )
Appealing is plan B, before the 28 day deadlines2 -
