ZZPS & Saba train station parking

Hi All,

im looking for some advice to support with a case I’m having trouble with

essentially I forgot to pay for parking at my local rail station but the first letter I received was from ZZPS asking for £360 as they have spilt the fines over 2 days with 2 separate PCN’s but for one stay in the car park that crossed over 2 days.

I have explained to ZZPS that I did not recieve any correspondence before hand so had no opportunity to appeal or pay a reduced fee and now they’ve added ridiculous admin fees.

I have reached out to SABA who basically say it’s nothing to do with them.

And ZZPS are saying 2 letters were sent but cannot provide me any proof but they stand by the charge and in their words will progress the matter.

The station does operate under railway bylaws but I’m not sure what impact thaw has so wanted to reach out for help on how to challenge this as it doesn’t seem fair at all.

ZZPS are debt collectors, pointless arguing with useless debt collectors, so don't, instead read the 4th post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the parking forum here. Debt collectors cannot help you

Your aim is to drag this out past the 6 months deadline in bylaws cases, Ideally you should never blab about who was driving the vehicle, regardless of the circumstances, never reveal who was the driver !  Never. !  No keeper liability on railway land, not when bylaws apply

Just IGNORE them for now, but do not ignore a letter of claim or court claim, official legal correspondence, but no more talking to debt collectors

Also, check your V5c log book has the correct name and address on it, moving house and not updating the V5c is the usual cause of missing paperwork, it is your legal responsibility to keep the V5c and driving licence up to date

Were the SABA notices PNs or PCNs? Don't guess, show us one.

How long ago were they issued?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Thank you both

I will confirm the PN or PCN part once home and post in here.

They are saying the fines were issued in July and I was sent 2 letters but I didn’t receive them

I don't believe that they even mentioned the words fine or fines, its either a PCN or a PN, nothing else, definitely not FINES . If they have called them fines, please post redacted pictures of the letters, no personal information etc

They probably did send letters, to the address of the registered keeper as currently listed on the DVLA database, not receiving them is no defence, posting them to the registered keeper address is what they must do, so check that the V5c details are 100% correct when you get home too.  If its incorrect, its your problem to correct for the future and would be why the letters were not received by you

Check that the address on your V5C is correct and up-to-date!  This is the usual reason for not receiving a PCN/PN but then receiving a debt collector letter because the DCA used a tracing agent.
  • I have checked my V5 and it is correct my address is right, I did not receive the letters and now I’m being held to account for it? What do I do?

    Nothing follow previous advice

  • ZZPS is known as the OSNER SCAM with BPA approval, is on par with the cheapest toilet paper

ZZPS are simply money scammers to ignore
