As its been mentioned the lagging isnt microsofts fault, they are aware of the problem and they are fixing it,
If it isn't microsofts fault then why are they fixing it

everyone has had a problem with connecting to games recently due to a problem, you can t really complain about it really,
Why cant I complain? Just because everyone is experiencing the same problem? I fail to see your logic in that!! Microsoft are NOT providing me with the uniterupted game play service that I am paying for ~ a fair reason for complaining really.
As I said in my first post I wasn't sure if this was the right board but just needed an address and thanks to choc for providing that.
Not really sure why the *it's your internet/systems/manufacturers fault* comments were nescessary

this website is the blog from the UK xbox community manager - he mentions the lag problems too, its good to keep an eye on for service updates.
He also goes on to say that he wants people to report the problems to xbox support, so they can get to the bottom of them.Xbox LIVE Status Update
I've been getting hammered with messages and questions about Xbox LIVE over the past few days, and I've noticed some slowness myself. Major Nelson looked into the problems overnight with the technical teams over in the USA and he posted the following:
"You may have noticed that the LIVE service has been having a few issues over the past few days. This includes things like signing in, matchmaking and account recovery. Not everyone has had problems, but I know some of you have and I wanted to give you and update. While the service was never completely offline, problems like this are not acceptable. The entire LIVE team has been working day and night to ensure that you can have a great LIVE experience. While we’re not done yet, I wanted to let you know that things are getting better each hour and that no one on the team is going anywhere until the job is done. Thanks for your patience."
I would like to reiterate Major's comments that this is not acceptable and we're very sorry for any inconvenience it has caused you. Thanks so much, as always, for raising the alarm and letting us know that things are not quite right, and thanks for your patience while we sort these problems out.0 -

it still wasnt 100% when i was on xbox live on friday night. while getting a game online was almost 100% i couldnt get signed into marketplace. after several minutes the circle thingy that appears when you sign in was still going round. so i gave up.0

i didnt type what i was trying to say, Microsoft didnt anticipate how many people would sign up during the christmas period,
you can try and complain but if they will listen to you is a different issue, people on the xbox forums complained about the connections but ms didnt take note at first, ive been on LIVE since it started and the issues during the xmas period have been the first connection issues ive experienced, if it happens again dont get stressed about it as these things happen, no the problem you experienced shouldnt have happened but they didNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20
