Significant saving moving to GIGACLEAR fibre shown on the MSE website. £46.00 pm down to £29.00 pm.
BUT...
Gigaclear have negatives not discovered until after installation. (see below.)
On balance we think it's still good, but may have chosen another provider had we known. It may not be for everyone. Hope this feedback helps.

1) GC are five times faster for almost half the previous price. (Our contract)
2) Installation free, quite quick and on time.
3) Free router. No need for more equipment.
BUT.
1) CGNAT is used.A cost cutting system where any other customer can get everyone blacklisted and nothing can be done but buy an additional "pay for" service.
2) Wireless router is not very powerful (unless you live in a flat then it doesn't matter.)
3) Wireless router shares bandwidth with other nearby users.(Buy a better router to solve this.)
4) Cable coming into the house is only 10 inches below the lawn. (Might be a gardening problem.)

Perhaps this can be researched by MSE and published on the Broadband pages?
