  • Hi

You will probably need a new cartridge. The link will explain all.http://www.showerdoc.co.uk/shower-spares/aqualisa/classic-aquavalve-200-400.html

PS What it doesn't show is an 'o' ring. If you look at the cartridge it has a roughly 12mm stainless steel tube at the end . This sits in the body at the centre. Inside the body is the 'o' ring, it needs digging out and replacing (a new one should be supplied with the kit.) It's fiddly .

Aqualisa have a very helpful spares dept - forget the phone number though sorry.

Our next door neigbour had a pumped mixer shower that had a fault. It needed a new wiring loom. I ordered it about this time last year with my cc IIRC and it basically took one working day to arrive.

We have a similar Aqualisa, although in chrome, and the same problem. I have just ordered a new cartridge from the Shower Doc, I hope it will solve the problem. Ours is almost 20 years old, but the fittings look like new, so I don't want to have to replace the whole thing.

    How much did that cost?
