Send a message through the EA and ask if they would like them left. Otherwise dispose of them.1

Send a message to the buyer via the estate agent, that way you are covered in case the buyer doesn't want them.1

Unless you're talking about a vast amount of stuff I doubt you need to chat about it first, but no harm in doing so I suppose (not much point in having spare paint, kitchen doors etc if they're going to rip everything out and redecorate).0

If it's a small amount of stuff that can easily be discarded in the general waste I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if it's things like, paint, varnish etc then ask (via the estate agent or solicitor), as not everyone has the facilities to properly dispose of it if unwanted0

Do leave any manuals behind - along with contacts for window cleaners and tradesmen bin dayNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill1

common sense says it would be best to contact your purchaser and give them the option of refusing your offer
otherwise when they move in they may regard you as having failed to clear the property and will come on here complaining about the disgusting vendor who left their rubbish behind and asking how do they make the vendor pay for the disposal costs1 -
Leaving them might imply you know your choices are going to fail.....0

If they do want them, make sure you label them clearly so that they know what they are for, unless this is obvious. e.g. there is only one sort of hinge on all kitchen cabinets and no other similar hinges anywhere else in the house.
Well done for thinking of this. I wish more vendors did this. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1 -
In my experience it's pretty commonplace to leave behind such items (whether deliberately or not!). Though I did once also inherit a loft filled with "useful" things like offcuts for carpets which no longer featured elsewhere in the house...tacpot12 said:

Ok thanks all.Part of the contract is not to leave any rubbish behind but I guess if contact estate agent then my back side is covered. It just seems like such a waste to throw things away when the buyer could use them in future.akso with instruction manuals i have 99%of them and was also intending to leave that as part of the package.Ive also got spare kitchen wall and floor tiles which would be very handy should any get cracked in future.0
