            Sort code checker.
Although that might just show where you opened the account rather than where it is now.ETA - some banks put the address on the summary page but not on the rest of the statement. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Sort codes are often branch identifiers.waterman10 said:Hi, Does anyone know where this information is? I can't see it on my bank statements.

Given the amount of BOS closures then you may not have a 'branch' anymore.waterman10 said:Hi, Does anyone know where this information is? I can't see it on my bank statements.

If you look on your statement, either paper or digital pdf, the branch will show at the top left of the first page

Note this is statements from your inbox and not monthly PDFs you get from "your accounts".Descrabled said:If you look on your statement, either paper or digital pdf, the branch will show at the top left of the first page

Why do you need to know? It shouldn't make any difference for anything you need to do.0

The few times I've needed to do this I just put the address of the bank's head office in London or wherever and I've never had any issues. Personally I've never needed to know the branch assigned to my account, and I don't think it matters much given the days of personally knowing your branch manager, etc, are long goneWillPS said:Rob5342 said:Why do you need to know? I presume to fill in an old direct debit form which includes 'branch name/address'?0 -

That's all I've ever done and it's always been fine. The sort code is just an extension of the account number now, if you have those you can do anything anywhere.

The op has not said, and why should they, why they need the account branch.I must correct my previous error. The name of the branch is on the top rjght of the statement. Easily viewed within a minute from the Halifax or BOS app. Can't tell my left from my right.1
