So what part of 23 is relevent as I cannot see any clause t5hat allows for a pause of debt collection

As far as I can see, this only applies to appeals. I cant appeal because its past the time, due to notices not going to the correct address. I cannot see anything that takes that in to account.

I also cant find an email to send anything to. They have an appeals portal which automatically closes once you have passed the appeal deadline. I have sent an e-mail to their complaints department as this is the only email they have on their website. So far they have not responded.

You have a DCB Legal court claim? That's actually great news! Scam over in 2025. No risk. You won't even need to attend a hearing.

Just use the Template Defence as you see in all the other DCB Legal claims at the moment.

We have 2 or 3 threads like yours each day, so go back and scroll through the forum to read a good half dozen or more.

Regardless of which parking firm  Learn how people worded their paragraph 3. Copy!

With a Claim Issue Date of 17th September, you have until Monday 7th October to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. 

To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 21st October 2024 to file a Defence.

That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.

To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.

Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
