Email Notification won't go away!

I had an email notification (number in the envelope icon) yesterday. I've since replied to it but the notification in the icon doesn't go away. Any ideas?🤔

Is this still an issue?
Our forum was updated yesterday and there are 2 notes related to notifications:Fixed issue where "Mark All Read" only works/clears notifications on the second attempt.Resolved issue with Bell Icon Number not matching the actual number of notification messages.It's possible these updates resolved any issue - or possibly the issue was caused by a temporary bug during the update.

It must have been a glitch. I subsequently received another email where the notification disappeared as soon as I'd read it and the original went soon after.1
