My daughter received a parking charge at the above pub & followed the advice by requesting the pub to cancel, which they agreed to do.
Unfortunately the charge wasn’t cancelled by the parking company despite further emails & she is now receiving the debt collector letters.
The pub has now said, “ I'm sorry I think the old car park company might be holding a grunge since we've moved on from them as they are refusing to cancel this parkin fine.”
It is now too late to appeal to POPLA & I would appreciate any advice about what to do in these circumstances.
Thanks very much

Ignore CEL until they send a LBC or file a court claim. No risk as long as she checks every letter (and tells them if she moves).

Civil Enforcement Ltd have now sent a letter before claim.
I will advise her to use the template response on the newbies thread, but am concerned that she’s at quite a disadvantage now.
After taking the pub at their word that they had arranged to cancel the PCN, she lost the opportunity to use POPLA which would have also allowed her to see the contract. Also photographs were not taken of the signage as we thought no need to appeal; now they have changed parking company we are not able to follow that up either.
Is there anything else she should do at this point or add to the response to Civil Enforcement?0 -

OK. In readiness for the court claim form signed by 'S Wilson' next year you should search the forum for that (NEWEST results, not Best Match).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the advice; the claim form has now arrived, signed by S. Wilson, Head of Legal.
The Particulars of Claim look pretty naff to me, probably can use Chan & Akande.
I will follow all the advice as written, but can you please advise about referring to the landowner’s instruction to cancel which was ignored by CEL0 -
Show us the POC and what is the date of issue of the claim form, keep an eye on the deadline for submitting AoS (using the Dropbox link: -
