Claim Form Euro Car Parks

Hi there just looking for some info regarding a claim form I've received from DCBL on behalf on Euro Car Parks for a contravention on the 18/1/22.

I'm aware of another user (baz417) who has a claim form for the exact same car park on the same day in Leicester.

just wanted a bit more info as my circumstances were different in the way that the machine wasn't working, (I took a picture of this) and the parking attendent literally just told me it'd be okay to park there, naive on my part I know, but also I didn't pay retrospectively on paybyphone like baz417 did

ive registered MCOL and done the AoS. Just want a bit of help with my defence.

thank you. I've attached my claim form.

    Hello and welcome.

With a Claim Issue Date of 31st July, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 2nd September 2024 to file a Defence.

That's three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Send a pm to @baz417 and if you will both be using the same local court, ask for your cases and evidence to be heard at one hearing.  If your court disagrees then I would share your evidence of the broken machine that day (to help each other) and be witnesses in each other's cases if they get to hearings.

Just recieved this, I'm assuming I just wait for the direct questionnaire to be sent to me now?

they've enclosed a copy of the questionnaire but it has been filled in by DCBL.

    thanks

This is covered by the first 12 steps in the Template Defence thread. As is Compulsory Mediation.

Sorry I could not see your message earlier , was quite busy with other things so just saw your message today. I am also in the same process to fill DQ.
  • Hi currently filling in the DQ, but I'm aware you can email it.

which email do I use? I've read the newbie thread but I'll be honest I'm lost. Also states to send a copy to the solicitors of the claimant?

are we saying don't post it to the court at all?

    I've got until 10th October.

    cheers

Doesn't item 10 on that checklist you were once following give you the answers you need?

That suggestion was made two weeks ago - on 14 September at 12:30PM - on your thread.

Study the first 2 posts in the template defence by coupon mad in announcements, where the correct information is, including the 12 steps section

No posting the paperwork at all, no filing it on MCOL either, email ONLY

A copy of the N180 goes to the solicitors acting for the claimant, so the correct CNBC email address, cc the solicitors, plus cc yourself too , one email, 3 recipients

    File away the paperwork

  • Hi, I recieved this last week and it might be obvious but am I just to email a copy of my DQ to Leicester County Court? Is it that simple?

also, is this a good thing to have happen?

Correct,  ensure that your details and case reference number are included, so they can add it to the case file
