Brambles can do better than that. They say 3 inches but mine can do 12" a day.Makes you wonder why we don't grow the 'wild flowers' instead of tender stuff that needs constant attention
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

What weeds have you got OP?
I've got mare's tails that can not be there one day and 2 days later they're a foot tall, sticking their tongue out at you and loving life in general. Swines. See also - bindweed.I oppose genocide. I support freedom of speech. I support freedom of assembly.4 -
It's a matter of faulty perception. If people were to look upon 'weeds' as a welcome addition to the diversity of their plot, and welcome them, there'd be no issue. It is very divisive to think of some plants as having greater worth than others. We all know that in the Darwinian universe, all plants are equal, so if some grow and reproduce faster than others, it's a reason for celebration, not dismay."There is no such thing as a low-energy rich country." But what if we live in an Orwellian universe and some are more equal than others?I oppose genocide. I support freedom of speech. I support freedom of assembly.3
