Fixed ISA maturity date question

I have a RBS 1yr fixed ISA about to mature.
I initially paid in on August 8th 2023 & have received email telling me my ISA will be converted into an instant access ISA on Sept 5th. I make that 13 months. Do I need to wait until Sept 5th to transfer it?

I would wait for renewal instructions before doing anything - you don't want to incur charges for withdrawing too soon,

If you have received the email confirming the date it will convert to instant access, then you have the date confirmation.  With another provider, if you apply for a product with them with the intention of transferring the  existing ISA to them, they will likely offer the option to transfer only from a specified date if you prefer, and you can specify the date.  Take a look at the information on transferring in an ISA on the relevant provider website.  There may be date restrictions, for example it may be they state it must be within the next 14 days.

When you do ISA transfers, they ask you if you want to wait until a product matures.  Just select that option.
