OK i know that question is a bit like how long is a piece of string but i've really no idea! We would like a porch to house our coats, smelly dog stuff etc. when we return from walks, but i have no idea how much these things cost. I would hate to waste somones time asking for a quote and not nearly be able to afford it!

I recently was quoted (as a ball park figure only) between £6 - £8 thousand pounds for a small porch. Not very definitive but might give you a slight idea? I have a feeling there will be cheaper out there though.0

As for the Porsche....glad i only want a porch!!!!MFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
I think as a rough guide single extensions are about £1,000 per square meter.
So 5 x4 meters is 20 meters = £20,000.
But I could be wrong
Better saving the porch money and having an extension, maybe..... howabout story?
You guys are so great thank you xMFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
im seriously thinking of buying that diy porch.
ive already done the base, just havent got the dosh for the actual porch yet.
but my FIL has just had a fairly decent inheritance left him. so with some luck i might be able to borrow an interest free loan?
my house is up for sale and i reckon the porch will be a nice selling point?Get some gorm.0 -
