Unfortunately wanted to switch my partner's sim away from Lebara so I can switch back to them on a better deal, because she's getting 1GB/month for £5/month from Lebara.

I noticed three things:

First, they are complete muppets because resetting the password by entering the mobile mobile number actually prints your associated email address.  Most sites just say something generic (you have been emailed...).  Nice pivot there for hackers?

Second, when resetting the password, even in 2024 they don't seem to understand you shouldn't send the new password through the email.

Third, I can't figure out how to actually change my password.  There is something wrong with the form, so I can't submit it.  It just freezes on me.  I wondered if anyone else has successfully changed their Lyca password from default recently, and if you have any tips.  Yes, I'm following what the form says upper/lower case, special chars and so on.

I guess it won't be a problem for long, because I'll be switching again soon but it'd be nice to know.  Thanks!

Don't delay, obtain your PAC and switch now, forget the rest. See other threads about Lyca, they're unlikely to last much longer.
