The second phone is really irrelevant to OP's issue, so it could really have simply been explained as lack of refund on the original purchase.1

I just called them, and they have said they will provide the refund! It may take 5-7 working days but I finally have a result!
So they received the airpods, and didnt give the refund because they was expecting a google Pixel 8. I have spoke to so many customer service agents over this via chat, explaining that they was airpods going back, so I'm not sure why it has taken this long!
I suppose it would have been more appropriate for Amazon to list the status as "incorrect item shipped" and followed up with an email or a call, but I guess it is over now!
