Bank of Scotland plc trading as Halifax

I have composed a letter using the car finance reclaim tool. However, I can’t find an email contact to send it to. The creditor on my agreement was ‘Bank of Scotland plc trading as Halifax’. Can anybody help?

I’m also wondering if it’s even worth trying at all as I have done some research and their name isn’t coming up with being associated with any wrongdoing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you take out a loan or was it definitely car finance?

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Was it through a dealer or bought via Halifax? - Although DDG has directly answered your query.

Sounds like an independent rather than a chain with own-brand finance.  That probably explains why there wasn't any.
