I recently went online to check a number for possible Spam and spotted an Ad' for 'Wotcha'.
Apparently this is a free Ap' for mobiles to check for scam/spam calls.
Anyone had any knowledge of this system ?
Thanks

The reviews on Google Play aren't encouraging  - it's free if you are happy for them to spam you with ads!

It appears to be just a caller ID / number blocker - my Samsung does all that anyway and doesn't make me watch ads for the privilege.

Similarly my Google Pixel shows up calls as spam - I think it's an Android feature, no need for another app
  • Used to be "who called me.co.uk"but if you type that you get "wotcha" they cannot even spell "available" and website is a mess with faulty email address for contact etc. They even block Manchester VPN IP addresses as if they were from abroad. Original site was brilliant but this just looks like a scam. Totally unprofessional.
